United States Lifesaving Association – Rip Currents
The USLA works to reduce the incidence of death and injury at the beach through public education; safety information for hazards including rip currents can be found on their website.
A non-profit organization who provides lifesaving equipment and safety education for residents and visitors to Long Island’s East End beaches.
East Hampton Town Lifeguards supervise 7 ocean beaches and 3 bay beaches and maintain a website with beach conditions and other statistics. Daily Beach Reports can be found here.
